R33 Gtst Wheel Space / Offset? (R33 Gtr Wheels)

Would anybody know how centred the standard wheels sit on a GTST?

(Offset is 40)

I mean would I have more space to the inside or outside of the arches?

(considering I'm going to roll the lips)

Inside seems limited by the shocks and outside by the arches.

I'm trying to figure out the best offset/ width for me.

I found some 17'' 9' 30 GTR R33 wheels and am marvelling to go for it or not.

What tyre width would fit nicely on a 9'' wheel without ballooning and still fit?

Lots of people have fit the R33 GT-R wheels with just a guard roll. I can't remember which tyre size, but you can run 235-255 depending on your setup.

As for distances, measure yourself? It'll probably be quicker.

Thanks for the answers ... I'm well aware that this been asked a million times but the information is really scattered.

Yep, I did re-search . but just wanted to have possibly a straight answer before I end up buying the wrong tyres.

I read anything from (offset) +35 all round to +20 which sounds odd.

I was going to measure the clearance myself to gain an understanding about which offset to chose (not just for the R33 GTR wheels)

Also I'm still torn between the GTR wheels and 18'' Rota Grid Drift.

Um....if it were a choice between Rota Grids and wooden cart wheels made in the 1800's, I would choose the wooden cart wheels every time.

GTR wheels are the easy choice here. They look good, they are light, they are strong and they fit.

Yep ... all valid points ... will go for the GTRs and see if 255 or 265 fit under the arches
