I've done a gearbox change (still rb20) on my 32, and connected my speedo cable nice and tight, however it's not working? Everything seems normal on the cable. Also my power steering is out since the change.. I hear that they have 'speed sensitive power steering' and if the speedo cable is disconnected it won't work. Anyone know about this? Thanks

Broken speedo cable most likely. On R32s the cable goes to the speedo head and the head generates the electronic speed signal that the ECU/HICAS/ABS etc computers all use. No cable drive = no needle movement and no electronic signal.

You could test it by trying to drive it (slowly and carefully) from the gearbox end with a battery drill. If the speedo needle responds then the cable is OK and you've then more likely broken the drive gear in the gearbox. Just pulling it out could tell you that anyway. Plastic gear with no teeth is an obvious thing to see.
