Sorry to be picky... But my fastest lap during the race was 1:02. The 1:12 was average lap time. And not sure about starting position since i started in the pits :P didnt know you were supposed to press the grid button WHILE it was counting down...

Fun race. Was driving smoothly during practise, dont know why i couldnt keep it on the track during the race. 15 incidents in the first few laps lol.

Congrats to the top 3 :)

Haha you learn from that I suppose Liam! Was that your first race on iracing?

Yeah race was a lot of fun. Such a small track, I found myself losing concentration around laps 12-15 haha.. Had a couple big moments

Yeah I think my best lap was a 1:07 as well.

Tried laguna seca for a bit after the race, haven't managed to get through the corkscrew clean yet :D

That pit exit through me as well

Gran Turismo taught me that the fastest path from A to B is a straight line...

haha yeah GT Laguna Seca and iRacing Leguna Seca are two different beasts....

I did a time trial the other day, but yeah first grid start.

Sorry about that! All updated direct from iRacing results for Liam's time and Justin's time :)

GT Laguna Seca is far from the iRacing version, Tyre models as well in GT haven't really changed ever and feels like your driver slot cars half the time in a smash up derby! :P

Guys with the fancy pants wheels, do the pedals have feedback?

I think the only pedals that it's possible to have feedback with are the fanatec clubsport pedals.

I have the first version of them though the abs/vibration feature has never worked. I've never really looked into it to find it why though because I don't really think it's needed.

I wish I had force feedback in my pedals! But the g27 can be upgraded with things like two stage springs or ever if your keen a real brake cylinder that some how works from USB and p/s, looks great but seems like a mess around!

my logitech momo is crap, the brake pedal has no resistance, so only feedback I have is the tyre noise

maybe you could be lucky and find that Logitech make a two stage spring for the momo wheel. I was using (and still have) a Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel to begin with and I found it was almost easier to get better times without the force feedback, but in saying that with a little practice (like a year and half!) I get the same if not better times now with the g27.

Haha that's why I like the fanatec clubsport pedals. Using the load cell instead of potentiometer. Braking ends up becoming muscle memory. Helps with speed and consistency
