R32 Tail Lights And Dash Lights Not Working.

Hey guys, my dash lights and tail lights stopped working, I have brake lights just not tail lights. Yes I did change the fuse and they still don't work. It happened after I took my headunit out and wired a new plug for a different head unit but the new headunit blew so I'm not not using any head unit. Could that be the reason why they aren't working?

Yes. Check all fuses, trace wires from Head unit back, check the fusible links at the battery terminal.

maybe your battery terminals have cracked or are damaged or too weak

do you have a crappy dimmer installed on your dash? cos if you do and its faulty it will cause your dash lights and tail lights to stop working on an r32

and even if it looks good you should change the red 10a Tail Light fuse located on the bottom row of the fuse panel under your dash, when doing your headunit you probably have popped the fuse and i have seen fuses pop and still look good visually so please just try it, if you dont have a new 10a just swap one from somewhere just to check

ive got that and it has nothing to do with the back lights

This should also be effecting your park lights as well.

Step 1: check fuse - actually see if it is popping, don't just replace.

Sounds like you have shorted something. Wiring a head unit isn't hard, but because it blew, you majorly f**ked something up.

What I would do, remove the head unit, all the shit you put in, and check the harness and make sure no wires are touching where you pulled it out. Replace fuse and try again.
