Not cause I'm a coastie, but mangrove mountain is a fairly easy course and very relaxed also. Its public and afaik doesnt har a weekend comp, if it does its very small as doent have a big member base. Plus it's a nice drive out there.

I play there every quarter and we rock up with an esky full of beer and the pro shop just laugh at us and hand us the keys to the carts.

Aaaah WATER!

True Story:- One foursome going around Liverpool Golf Links on a social.

> One guy started off with double/triple bogeys over the first five holes

> Totally demoralised was he

> On the 16th (or so), he came good and won the hole

> He had the "honour"!

> On the next tee, he could see there were still players ahead just beyond the water hazard

> Still nonplussed at the day's debacle, he asked the other three, "Do you think it's OK to hit yet?"

> One of his mates replied, "Sure, there's no-one swimming!"

Riverside Oaks.

One of my clients can get our SAU social group in there. Anyone interested?

This is an International Grade course, once the home of the Australian Open; and about to host the NSW Open.

Cost as a special mates rate would be $80 pp.

Meanwhile DekA Matt is busy organising another special golf day but I think it's best for him to stitch that impressive day out and let us know in due course.
