r 33 headlights

I have a series 1 r33 and am wondering if all 4 headlamps should be on when it's on high beam. When mine is put on high, one pair goes off and the others go on. Is this normal?

yes it is normaly... have thinkt the same but it should be so anyway. =)

I think all R33's are meant to do that.

Well mine does and every other one i've seen does. Unless all of ours are broken...

But yes. I pretty damned sure that they are meant to do that.

Im considering running a couple of diodes from the hi-beam to the the low-beam, so all four will go on at hi-beam

(this is done at the relay's) (for those thinking of doing the same).

I think it was East Bear who have this kit. Its for sale at Perfectrun.

NO the series one the inside ones should be on only during high beam. I checked the wiring and this was the way it was suppose to be.

By memory I think that kit is about $150-200 :eek:
