Hello, as the title says I am attmepting to loosen the tension on the power steering belt without success. I have undone the holding screw off the tensioner and backed off the tensioner bolt shown in these two pictures.

After this I figured I would have some slack and tried pushing down on the power steering pump but I'm not getting it to budge at all. Is there anything else I'm missing or a trick to get me some slack?

Pivot bolt does most of the work, many cars have completely lost the tensioner setup and run on the pivot bolt only.

Rotate the crank so that the power steer pulley access hole lines up with the pivot bolt, 14mm socket from memory.

Slacken the pivot bolt and everything will loosen.
