Why go hi mount when you can bolt the ext gate to the turbine housing and use the standard manifold?

Yes, it will restrict your power if you are chasing 500kw.

Smaller runner, shorter manifolds will usually spool the turbo quicker, so no.

But it's internal gate, it won't work as well as the external housing as there is a large hole cut into the side of the nozzle. And it won't easily get you to 350kw.

Current set up. 25 neo. head ported stage 1 cams spit fire coil packs 3" exhaust system 100 cel cat dump at diff. 600x300x76 cooler 20 psi on op6 hi flowed by stao 650hp aero flow fuel pump as main 550cc injectors bp 98 with c5 octain booster mixed at 500ml per 30lt fuel. Current problem is boost dropping back from 20 psi to 15 psi at around 5500rpm. Has heavy duty actuator. Still not helping. This set up is making 380hp@rw want to make 450hp@rw. Want to have full boost by 35-3800rpm

It's much cheaper using a different servo pump than building an engine...

There are about 1000 turbo's that will make 350kw of flow, you need to choose one that will do it within your target revs and boost.

My suggestion for a responsive 350kw on e85 is a GTX3071 or similar, externally gated off the housing.
