hmm.. my V35 manual returns 7s on the highway and in the 10s in the city (11s in summer with AC worknig harder)..

That is amazing... My collegue who has previously a 350Z manual and now runs an 370Z manual struggles to beat 12 on a run, let alone in town... He was really upset when he heard what I was getting in the KV36..

His wifes Murano CVT always records better consumption than the Z.

My V35 does better than my wife's J31 CVT maxima, it returns mid 12s in the city and mid 8s on the highway. Although it does more short trips in the city than the V35 does.

to be fair, I live in Townsville, so city traffic isn't 'stop start' traffic like the capitals.

I thought my odo was misreading for a while, but when comparing to a GPS it was only out by about 150M over 10KM, so only 1.5%.

I was getting into the 12s in the city when I had a faulty AFR sensor, but it's back to normal after replacing that.

If you are getting one, get S or SP trim...nothing below that...both 350GT and 370GT are good, the 370GT more refined and tuned IMO...but all the same car...
