What the hell!!

What caused that?

bare in mind, the pump i put in was brand new, straight into e85, pretty much straight to the dyno.

I doubt it could of rusted up in ...2 days in a full tank of 85 :S

No, it wouldn't have. Just put it up for interests sake.

Interesting the 255 could outflow it, there is something else wrong I suspect, but replacing the pump will rule it out I guess. The 255's only draw 7amps or so, that's why I still run two of them, as it means less current for more flow.

Water and air = rust.

Specifically, don't test them in water, find that they work, then put them in a box for months.

You will find they do not work when you take them out again

Scottys picture is NOT an example of one of these pumps being used correctly in E85.

Interesting that they still use iron magnets though, I thought they would have been plated Neodymium or something, due to the flow they have.
