I have learned about a car parts supplier called ASIN.

Apparently they supply cars parts to manufactors such as Toyota, Nissan. They supply things like water pumps and other things.

Does anyone know if the Asin water pumps are good? I researched them some and have found the water pumps are OEM for Toyotas and other brands.

Its time for my timing belt change. Going to have the water pump done.

Idlers and tensioners, I'd never think of going anything but genuine. They are things you definently dont want to break in half lol. At least a water pump failing wont instantly kill your engine.

R32 GTS-t Water pump

At $140, they are pretty decent value for money, being genuine and all, there are definitely OEM items that are much more of a rip off then water pumps

I ended up fitting a Protex Gold series water pump for our GTR.

Ended up being a 6 blade N1 version, the Gold series are stamped made in Japan including Jap bearings. ;)

I get them for $66 each through my supplier. :)

Nope, engine is planned for 1/4 mile with minimal street use, has a partial grout fill also with cooler nismo thermostat.

Reason for the pump is we dont want cavitation of the water at higher RPM's.
