Over Heating Issue Rb25Det After Coolant Change.

hey guys just having a random over heating issue and wondering if any of you guys have encountered before??

so my rb25det seems to randomly over heat after i change the coolant. ill take it up the road it will heat right up to 115 degress plus and ill just pull over,turn the car off and let it sit for a few minutes, turn it back on and its back to good again around 85 degress.

also sometimes does it if its sit or a few days.

what could it be? water pump? blockage?

Did you bleed all the air from the coolant via the purge valve?

Has to be not bled properly or at all.

Crank the heater while u bleed it also but yes, if its a stock inlet manifold there is a bolt with a sticker that says "do not open when hot". Open it before u turn the car on, fill rad, as the water level drops fill it up again until a constant stream with no air pockets or bubbles comes from the bleed valve, then it should be apples.

As above - an air pocket will cause your coolant temp sensor to read high.
