nick0729
Hi all, is there any impact/harm if i upgrade the fuel pump and injector to a larger one, e.g. 400l pump with 1000cc injector, but without any need to do so at the moment. I have an upgrade plan going forward but want to do it step by step, can I upgrade the fuel system now at step 1, then upgrade to a larger turbo at step 2? E85 step 3, etc... My mods currently as follow: FMIC 3" exhaust pod filter boost controller Power FC thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444842-fuel-system-on-r33-gtst/ Share on other sites
gtr jet
You can upgrade but you'll need a re tune as the car won't run with the new injectors installed. nick0729
thanks, so it will run like a stock one even it is bigger, but it reserve the capacity to run when upgrade, correct? scotty nm35
If you retune the car... which is pointless, as you haven't increased the power at all. I would personally wait till you have done some more mods, eg the turbo, otherwise you are wasting your tuner's time, and your cash. nick0729
thanks for the advice mate. I didn't do any tune yet, i just have the power fc on hand, just thinking to get it install and tune all together with the fuel pump/injectors (still looking for some good stuffs), is it a good way? thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444842-fuel-system-on-r33-gtst/#findComment-7321024 Share on other sites
boostn0199
thanks for the advice mate.
