I believe I have a blown head gasket and am currently collecting all the parts needed to replace the gasket. I have been looking for "Gasket kits" but all seem to be online and need shipping. Is there anyone locally who does these kits?( complete gasket kit for RB20det) In Brisbane.

Here is my shopping list

- ARP head studs

- gasket kit

- oil*

- oil filter

- coolant

- new radiator

Anything else I should need?

* I have oil in the radiator which is why I want to flush coolant and oil to make sure they aren't contaminated. Car will be flushed professionally after gaskets are replaced

Why don't you want to buy it online? Plenty of places to get it from online at resonable prices and can only take a day or so to get there

I always deal with Kudos Motorsport and they are great, you can go to the Gold Coast to their shop if you really want but you should get stuff from there the next day if you order online

I really dont know why this tread was necessary, seems like you could have googled this or looked at the business traders in the for sale section

Tacoma Nissan on ebay is relatively well priced for a full OEM engine gasket set. Will include valve stem seals, plenum gaskets, cams cover seals, new exhaust manifold. While the head is off it might be worthwhile fully servicing the head. About 10 days from order to delivery.

I was only finding US sellers when searching for part numbers or people who wanted lots of time to ship it or even people who wanted to charge me $647 for a gasket kit... I broadened my search and finally found Kudos motorsport thank rajab i found them, best, most comprehensive site I could find.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
