I searched forums but couldn't find anything. I'm trying to adjust the height on my skyline,but my lower locking ring won't budge, I pulled as hard as I could with the key, hammered the locking key and put wd-40 on the thread, won't move even 1mm, this applies to all 4 coilovers.

The coilovers have no more than 4000km on them, they're about 6 months old, they're DGR.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Sorry if I posted in wrong section, this is my first post.

I'm not really familiar with that setup, but if you want to change the ride height of the car you need to undo the blue seat where the spring sits (2 rings locking onto each other), not the silver one you circled

Does the silver nut hold the threaded section onto the shock?

Those coilovers have base height adjustment, so I think the OP was trying to undo the lower locking collar, allowing him to screw the entire shock body down lower into the bottom foot to change the ride height.
