Rb25 Water Pump

Hey, Ive just done a timing belt and water pump service. After the first drive the fan hub has lost some bolts and nicked the radiator and the alt. Belt slipped off. After taking it all apart and letting it call down ive noticed that cooland out what looks to be a drain hole on the Gates Water Pump. Not sure if it is a plug hole or if the water pump will need to be replaced

this is the under side of the pump where its leaking.

Its called a tell tale. Designed to leak when the water pump is on its way out. When water leaks past the seal you will see water come out that hole

Do stock/all water pumps have a tell-tale? on the 25det neo if it makes a difference?
