Hi. there's this turbo for sale and before I purchase it I want to know if it's a dud. I know the only way to find out is to hook it up but if there's anything you see wrong with it please tell me !!

Description:

Selling the OP6 turbo off my R34Gtt and the alloy intake pipe due to upgrading. In good condition, crappy plastic wheel replaced and flowed, made 240Rwkw at 16psi

Apparent Reason for selling is that he upgraded to a gtt 3076

He told me there's "a little bit of float but no end play, blew no smoke". He also suggested to put another bush kit on it.

Can someone tell me what that means ? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Don't want this to be my second bad turbo I buy

Buy new or high flow your own is my advice.

I'm not real comfortable when one member asks the collective about another members FS either.

The responsibility is yours and cant be shared on others to comment on pictures unless there is something glaringly obvious.

Your going to have to look at it in person before handing cash over

If buying the turbo will have other consequences such as world peace or three wishes etc the answer is yes you should buy it.

If you like taking risks to maybe save money then yes buy it.

If you like to put on and take off turbos just to see if they are actually rooted then yes buy it.

Sorry it may seem harsh and it's a hard way to learn. It's never nice.

If the turbo you bought was from a member on here then leave him poor feedback and post in his original FS the facts. "Bought this Turbo and it was shagged"

May not help you but will help others.

Save up and get your original OP6 high flowed and get rid of the worry. good for around 245kw's hassle free

There are other things you will need

Larger injectors

Fuel Pump

Nistune & tune

about $3500 all up including labour and highflow

or if you want new and cashed up go the 3076 and take it to around 300kws
