R32 Gtr Drivers Seat As A Passenger Seat

Gday everyone.

Have a drivers side GTR seat in the garage. Compared to the GTS-T seat its a hell of a lot lighter.

If i replace the rails from the GTS-T passenger seat to the drivers GTR seat will it bolt directly up? Anyone out there done it before? Wouldnt be too hard to weld something together however would be good to avoid that!

Love for you to expand on that, why do you have that opinion?

Cutting off and re welding will mean it won't be as strong or to the same standard as it was made. Therefore safety would be questionable.

Did you see the other part of it? Dont really want to weld hence asking if it would work.

Think ill just give it a go and see if it bolts up!

Why do you want to give the passenger to joy of sitting in a GT-R seat? Surely it makes more sense to replace the driver's seat with the GT-R seat.

Anyway, if it does work, you will have trouble using the adjustment controls - they will be wedged between the seat and the tunnel.

Was thinking of the controls that would be between the tunnel and seat. The seat wouldnt get used much, but want one in there. Is much lighter than the GTS-T seat too!
