How Do You Remove Stock Front Suspension For R33 Gtst?

I'm having problems removing the front suspension strut on my mates r33, I've removed the bolts and the suspension won't come out, any tips?

boooo this isnt as fun. basically pull down on the piece on the right or jack up the shock till it slips over.

Ok just done mine last weekend and had the same problem. In your first pic you posted you'll see your upper controll arm. It's as simple unbolting it from the top, swing it towards you. This will give you ample amounts of room to get shocks out and new ones in.

Got it back in and out again to install new coil-overs, thanks for the advice guys, really helped
