Reading Info From An Apexi Ecu

I am trying to do some work on my R33 GTR and find myself needing to read codes from the APEXi Power FC and possibly retune it. What software or cable can I use? I know it has a Consult I port, but can you use a standard reader with the APEXi ECU? If not what is the best way to access the information? I know that I have seen the FC-Datalogit software, so is that the best/ only option? Thanks for the help and hope this is in a close to right section!

Datalogit or PowerFC handset.

I have the handset, but haven't used it that much. Is that sufficient if I want to retune it or should I look into buying the Datalogit software?

ugh....tuning with the handcontroller bites balls. buy a datalogit. Or if you are in auckland NZ give me a bell....can pull the tune information for you.

You can tune and check faults with the handset, but as Gaz above said, it's not as easy as with a laptop. That said, for the majority of the time that PFCs have existed, most people have tuned with the handset.
