lol cool problem to have

assuming you don't take it out on wet days or drive it daily I would be putting a semi slick on the car like federal fz201, kumho v70a, toyo 888 etc

also, you can fit much wider that gtr standard rims on the back of a 33 gtst, so find a larger set of wheels too. You should be able to get 10"/275 wide tyres on the back in the right offset

well in Oz I understand there are no rules on tyre width for a rim, instead we rely on manufacturer deciding what is safe. so you will need to check for a given tyre to be sure. In general I would expect 245 is the widest you can run on an 8.5" rim

there is a full semi slick thread elsewhere, I mentioned those 2 because they are the cheap ones, between 300 and 400 a tyre. the best ones Dunlop DZ03G, Yokohama A050 or the Hankook whateveritis would be 500+ each.

But the grip will be chalk and cheese compared to road tyres

I switched to running nothing but comp tyres on my 33 GTS over 10yrs ago - started with RE540S, then NT555R, MT ET Street 1, R888, ET Street 2 and now A050. Obviously the drag radials are only used on the rear, with circuit tyres on the front.

In my decade of experience, I've found drag radials provide less grip on the street as they need more heat than a circuit tyre to produce their best. Unless you're prepared to do a burnout every 2nd or 3rd intersection you're better off sticking with a circuit based tyre for a 'monthly driver' (weekend/project car).

Perhaps not a daily driver but I know someone that drives to work on ET Streets and has done over a period of years, in fact come to think of it I know a guy who's other half used to take the kids from A-B on them (with 450kW at the rears).
