Odometer Difference After Dash Cluster Swap

hi all, will be changing my dash cluster this weekend as my RPM needle hasn't worked for a looooooooong time. if anyone has done this before how did you go about changing your kilometers to your original k's or did you leave it as is and just make a note of it? on a side note are S1 clusters compatible with the S2 for R33's???

You can swap the speedo assembly over to the new cluster

I know places in Melbourne that would change over the k's for you for roughly $150-200, although you'd have to show him the original cluster first, so it's not doing a dodgy.
