GTR-N1
Menzerna has a high reputation. Some detailers rate it higher than AutoGlym, Mothers and Meguiar's or at least equal to Poor Boys. They also have different grades of clay bar. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/445872-whats-a-good-polish/#findComment-7345663 Share on other sites

Chris32
Anyone used the Bowden's stuff? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/445872-whats-a-good-polish/#findComment-7346354 Share on other sites
junkie
bowdens stuff is pretty good but its not a full detailing range. i havent seen any proper polishes from them. i still use menzerna polishes, have two massive bottles and yet to even use half. poorboys and scholl make some good stuff as well but i have no experience with their products, just read a lot of good reviews. if you want a good off the shelf product, meguiars ultimate compound is great for the money Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/445872-whats-a-good-polish/#findComment-7347846 Share on other sites
D.I.Y. Mik
I just painted my car, and the guy at the paint shop said Menzerna fg500 wasnt really up to it. He gave me a tub of "machine grade cutting compound" Which really did the job well. But thats really coarse stuff, i used Menzerna for the finer grades and it came out ok, but it took quite a few passes to get it right. cobrAA
^^ if fg500 can't knock it.. then your sanding wasnt up to par. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/445872-whats-a-good-polish/#findComment-7350421 Share on other sites
