I've got a few paint chips on the very edge of the doors that have started to rust. What's the best way to tidy these up and seal them to prevent further corrosion?

Also, the paint is factory 'Blade Silver'. Is there any touch-up paint for this, or is that out of the question being a metallic?

I've always used a dab of autosol and cleaned up the rust spots, and then used touch up paint and a fine brush to dab a bit of paint in the chip.

Seems to work pretty well, with any luck you might be able to get your local Autobarn or similar to mix up a small tin of paint for less than $20.

They'll just need the paint code off your VIN plate
