Hi skyliners, going through trying to figure out why my r32 gtr is stuck in 4wd. Low speed turning you can hear and feel the front wheels trying to turn and the tyres scrub under the force. I used to have a 4wd controller but this has been removed. Even tried to take out the 4wd fuse and it still feels like 4wd. I have never seen the torque meter move since owning the car for a few weeks.

I have done some research checked the rear reservoir and it's topped up.

Any helps or places to start checking would help a lot. I turned the car on and tried to look for the leds in the atessa computer but nothing showed up.

I'm not 100% sure on this but a quick google would tell you.

The factory front diff is open which would cause each wheel to spin opposite directions when spun by hand with the car in gear.

a 2 way wouldn't want to spin in gear, but in neutral both wheels would spin the same direction.

Have a go and report back

edit: Thinking I might be wrong now... someone weigh in please

Mm. Front diff definately a possibility or maybe transfer case problem? Could it be the transfer actuator? Easiest way to narrow it down even more would be take out the front shaft and see if that makes any diff?

I have also had similar symptoms with wrong TPS. But that's not what you have.
