Nissan Elgrand E52

Hi guys,

Looking at a E52 Elgrand. This one to be exact.

Only problem is that I have not read the best things about Prestige Auto Centre.

They have provided me with the VIN number: TE52007336.

Is anyone able to confirm that the mileage is correct and the car is infact the same as the VIN they have provided me

They were the ones who got taken to court and lost for winding back k's. Also JOC found 3 other vehicles within the week that were wound back 50-100K+ from their dealership.

I would be checking service history, especially because of the CVT

It can take 10 yrs to earn trust; and 10 mins to lose it.

In the case of 'PAC man' they've been in business for 2 yrs.

I'm hoping that not all their cars are dodgy though. He claims that it has books and genuine kms.

I am skeptical though as it's a Rider model with quite a few options and its priced really low....

I work at Earlwood (near Haberfield) on Fri. If I have time I can have a squizz and crosscheck the VIN.

I wouldn't want you go out of your way. Probably better to check the VIN they gave me first, auction pictures might be a different car. If that's the case I will know not to even bother.

IREV in Bayswater bring in a lot of Elgrands, not sure whether they are e52 or e51 though, but might be worth the trek down there to see what he has

I've checked all TE52 cars sold in the last year and could not find this frame number in auction statistics.

I would ask them for de-reg papers and cross-check them.

I purchased my current Nissan Elgrand E51 from SSV in Melbourne if that helps. Have never had any issues.
