Price Check Machining Rotors

Hello all,

I had recently swapped to bendix pads

It appears the mechanic that did the work did not machine the rotors.

What is a fair price from a mechanic to

Machine the front rotors and back discs.

Price would include all labour such as

Taking them out ect.

i usually pay around 40 for a pair so would be 80 for both

Mobile On car disc machiners charge workshops $15 per rotor here in Melbourne.

im not really one to recommend disc machining unless the customer requests it. do you have slotted rotors?

machining usually costs around 30 - 40 bucks plus removal of discs to be sent away.

machining is the cheap way out of it, if the discs are warped id personally throw on a new set, if you're not running high quality slotted/drilled discs then a pair of front discs wont be costly at all. plus its brand new!

Mekong Spares in Canley Vale does machining for $12 per rotor whilst you wait.

I'm in Perth and pay $40 for a pair, that's removing myself and taking to shop.

I can get stock rotors for much the same price as machining - but sadly not for my D2s.
