Highly reccomended by myself. He rolled the front guards on my Skyline and i have no complaints whatsoever.

All depends on the wheel size.

I run 18x10 rear wheels on an R33 GTSt with 265/35 rubber, and i've got my coilovers wound....pretty much all the way down, there's still some more left, but i don't want to go lower. My tyres are tucked up inside the guards.

My main issue was with the 9" wide fronts when on full lock coming up gutters. Sorted that out, by getting the guards rolled. ALl good now.

Well, digging up an old thread but at least the search button works.

I know guard rolling can be bad for cracking paint, but i'm sure cutting tyres with metal at 100km/h is worse...

Has anyone else got any decent recommendations on a place to do it? I used QuickFit in Phillip on my subie and they didn't do the best job. Didn't even appear to heat up the guard first....

Jax Quickfit in Fyshwick did my fronts (The old Strathfield Car Radio) and it was fine. I hear they're about $60 a corner these days.

Jax Quickfit did the GTST and it worked a treat, paints fine and it allowed me the wider tyres to fit legally within the guards now. I didn't have a choice, I had a race the next day and wouldn't have passed scrutineering with my new tyres. Race or not race?? Easy choice :D and it was a success.
