Oh hell no. I didn't answer your question in the context of you using the PowerFC D. I was just answering in general. And if you read my answer, you'd see I said you should use a different ECU when changing from old 25 to Neo 25.

Yes, the engine is essentially the same, but better in many ways internally.

Yes, you can physically swap a Neo in where an old RB25 came from and pretty much everything pysically hooks up (except the wiring differences).

No, your Power FC will not run it unless you make some sensor changes.

Seeing as you're such a newbie to this, and have made the mistake of buying the PFCD, then you would only be inviting much pain by trying to swap a Neo into it also.

Ok thx for the heads up! I'm only looking at doing the engine swap as mine has 350ks and more oil leaks then I don't no what! So instead of doing a basic rebuild I thought swap the long bare neo over into it as I heard they were better internally as well. So just made sense to me to do so instead of wasting more money on the rebuild! Coz eventually I wanna do a rb30/25 rebuild package. I just wanna see wether or not I'm gonna stick with the drift seen or wether it's just gonna be another faise I'm going through...
