that should be some mean streeter - What turbos/turbo are you going to run?

I was going to use a t51r Kai untill it was stolen in a ram raid, fortunatly they left behind a t88 33d ( this turbo made 900 hp in the heat treatments car) , I am just waiting for a nos kit to show up, I have been offered a twin kit which has been quoted as being the same as keirs( hence the interest)

what does hpi#40 & gtr special#4 mean ?

I'm referring to a magazine called High Performane Imports. There is a spread on Keirs car in issue #40 which was a gtr special edition. In the article it states keir had Trust TD06's that were starting to run out of breath at 550kw and he replaced them with Trsut T67-25G units which made 610rwkw. I think the mag came out at the end of last year and i cant confirm how up to date the info is as some of the other gtr's featured had been developed further by the time the issue was printed. Good luck with the project mate.

Keir uses an off-the-shelf TD05 kit that's been upgraded to the T67's. There are a multitude of different manifolds that Trust make for the twin TD's, but only 2 that have the long runners (Keir's has a single gate with the turbos staggered on higher than the other, the other places the turbos right up the front and has 2 gates).

You can order backcopies of HPI from their website www.hpi.com.au , has a pretty good feature on the car and shows alot of things that "normal" racers wouldn't want any one else knowing - hat's off to Keir though, that's one awesome car both in quality of build and performance... and it's all done in house!
