The OBD2 port on V35s is an unual thing - people report that most OBD scantools and cables don't work on V35s either. I believe it has something to do with much of the electrical system being CAN-BUS, not pure OBD2, but am definitely not an expert in it.

I see, thanks for the info. Is there any possible ways of making it OBD2 compatible??

Some early V35's aren't OBD2 compliant, June 04 is when it became mandatory to comply with OBD2 emissions laws in Japan.

What engine do you have? It would be a mission, but changing every ecu in the car might work if you have the 3.5L, the direct injection engines you would have no hope.

There are plenty of other devices that do work...

The engine is VQ35, 3.5L. Sounds like a pretty complicated job to make it working, guess I'll just say goodbye to my HUD for now. lol
