Nismo Comp Coppermix Twin Pedal Feel?

Hey guys so I have one of these that i have just fitted up with the new donk and I'm just wanting to know what everyone that has one thinks about the release point on it?!

I find myself constantly slipping the clutch to much because the bloody release point is just about at the end of the stroke! I hate it its nice and light dosnt shudder but which is mad for a clutch that apparently can handle a lot of power but that very very late release point is crap.

Anyone else experience this or is it just me and some how I have buggered up somewhere? OR is there a way someone has discovered to correct it?

Is the clutch rod (between the pedal & the master cylinder) adjustable in your car - I know it is in an R33 GTST but no idea on an R32. If it is, adjust the length to set the takeup point where you want it - shorten the rod will make it grip at a lower pedal position.

Yeh i could do but then the pedal will sit lower and dosnt really fix the concern. The only time I have driven clutches that feel like this are ones on the way out? Strange on the gismo site they do say that they have designed it to only have 15% of the original stroke..

Have a crack with the search function. I recall a guy coming up with a fix for it probably about 6-8 months ago.

If I put a bigger slave on it it would increase the stroke required and make the pedal even lighter win win might have to look into that now then

I could be wrong but don't they recommend not using a Nismo slave cylinder with the Coppermix? Again only recalling stuff I thought I read in the past!

This is true, but I call bullshit. Mine has been working fine for the last 9 years with the Nismo slave. No idea why they say this.

Definitely going to run one of those nismo slaves! The only reason you wouldn't run a bigger slave is if your running out of pedal travel and the clutch doesn't disengage properly with the extra stroke required but it is disengaged with something silly like 4mm of travel so no probs with that!?

At least you don't have to press the clutch the whole way down .
