You will hit limiters/cuts before you boost the turbo that high that it breaks

Im fairly certain 14psi is the limit for all of the GTST/GTT series, altho the difference between 12psi and 14 is very little with the standard turbo.

I hit 0.95Bar on my car last nite on the freeway, didnt have any problems at all, and it pulled very hard. But ide never run that boost during the day or anywhere other than the freeway.

If your on the freeway cruising, at night, with a nice intercooler and cold inlet temps, then give 14psi a go, otherwise stick to 12psi

my 02c

Accepted practice is about 12PSI max on standard turbos, but since each turbo is slightly different, it could be more, it could be less :)

I wouldn't go for 14 personally, but I don't have deep pockets to replace something if it goes wrong..

LW.

I am running 15 psi, with a cold air box and good FMIC. My PFC is also tuned to dump a lot of fuel at those boost levels to try and keep the temps in the zaust side of the turbo down.

I think that with a good FMIC and CAB you should be able to run 14 psi if you dont cane the Sh8T out of it all day every day. 14 psi on the track would not go down to good I would think.

Mate stick to 12 - 12.5 you don't want to kill it straight after you got it. Anymore than that with the stock ECU and all sorts of funny things start happening. I had a horror day when I set my AVC-R to .95 bar and did 10 laps of Wakefield. It spat the exhaust/turbo gasket, intercooler hose and the dummy generally.

Hi Driver, R34 GTT 12 psi for 5 laps at Wakefield Park and one ceramic turbine in the cat. :spew: That's with a good intercooler (R33 GTR), good tune (not by me), oil cooler (Earls), POD with good ambient air intake (by me), standard dump with hi flow cat and 3" exhaust (HKS) and a GTR fuel pump. It wasn't being pushed super hard at the time either. I can give similar examples, the HPI R34 did the same thing and I have personally seen 3 X R33 GTST's with the similar results at supposedly "safe" boost limits.

Bottom line, I wouldn't go over 10 psi for any extended periods. :Paranoid:

If you have an intercooler (check), an air filter (check) and a full exhaust (check) then shoudlnt you be running about 11-13psi anyway? Without even touching the wastegate line.... i was on my R32 GTST, though i think they run a lightly harder spring.

Yep only on R32's, R33's and R34's (especially) don't repond as well and have softer wastegte actuator springs. :D
