Stupid Noob Question Need Help Aha

Hi all, got an ER34 and call me stupid but i cant get the dust caps off the back of the light to change my low beams. Have used tools and tried turning it both ways, the plastic grips on the cap just keep snapping.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?

do you have to push them in and then twist?

nope that didnt work either, 5 people have tried now

maybe try some sort of spay lubricant
