Hey guys and girls.

have seen this car for sale on cars guide .http://www.carsguide.com.au/cars-for-sale/CG_3079122/used-2001-NISSAN-SKYLINE--R34-Manual--Coupe-in-.html

i am wondering if it is a known car to the community and if so is it a genuine sale or has some one used there photos to host a scam.

i have asked them for pictures and said they can send more on the 21st due not not being with the car ( currently lives in a different state )
they seem geninley but can never be to sure.

easier to ask a community then wasting money on organizing flights for some think the does not exist.

thanks in advance.

P.s if posted in wrong area or against the rules i apologize .

thank in advance for any help.

Well you can't view the car until the 21st anyway so why not wait until then when he can send you more pictures....ask for somethibf specific like the MFD or dash with km, that should weed out a scammer.

No need to rush into it, if someone else buys it in the meantime they will go through the same hoops you have. Plenty of 34Rs out there.

I too was looking a this add about a week ago but stayed clear because of the huge amount of work that had been done to it. I would prefer one stock.

Seems genuine though given he has said who done the work and to feel free to contact them to verify the work.

And the above is wrong, there's really not a lot of NICE r34 gtr's out there worthy of there price tag.

Well I actually said there are plenty of 34Rs out there, so I don't see how that's in any way wrong. But I'll run with what you said about NICE 34Rs and challenge it, based on what I've seen and these two appearing only a month apart

Ok let me narrow it down not many nice stock bnr34's out there, that haven't had there kms wound back.

That silver one, I would have bought that in a heart beat if it were in NSW.

Everyone seems to put around $10k above the market value to start with when they first advertise and then start to lower the price after they have sat on the market for 3months or longer.

Anyway I'm finding it a little frustrating to find what I want.

There are heaps of stockish ones dude, be patient and something will come. Impatience is the way to a lemon. The perfect car doesn't jump out in the month you have the money for it. I don't even like looking for specific cars because there's always an apprehension you'll rush in and buy one and a better model could come along. I tend to wait until something jumps out at me even if it takes 4 years before I change cars, but I've never bought something problematic or regretful.

As for stock, well that's a bit of a buyer's fallacy anyway. Unless you're putting the thing in a shed for collection, you will undoubtedly end up modifying it one day and spending bucketloads of money to make it essentially the same as every other 34R.

People used to do it with 33 GTS-Ts, demanding a stock car and paying heaps more for it because they want to modify it their own way...only to end up doing exactly what everyone else does with them: spend what the car cost them on a high flow turbo, exhaust, front mount, injectors, ecu, Z32, 040 and PFC. Buy someone else's moneypit and save from the get go...that's why that silver one would have been perfect hey...
