It is a GTR yeah ?

You are turning in a little early and getting on the power a little late, get to know your ATTESA and trust the 4WD to pull you clear of the corner

It also looks/sounds like your single pegging, get the LSD looked at

And for the love of god DO NOT CROSS your arms

Its a GTS4 with a 26 in it so pretty much - I'm the guy that bought your brembos - stockies caught fire the session after that video

good call on the cornering, definitely got to build confidence now that i have some real brakes

Also with regard to crossing arms - i hear differing feedback on this - why not cross?

I'm also having trouble on the track and might upload one of my vids tonight. I find it really hard to keep corner speed up and the car seems laggy as I exit the turn.

Most of the time I have cars with 100+ less kw pull away from me out of a tight corner. If I try to exit any harder the car just under steers.

Oh yeah, hello

How did you go fitting them ?

I have since removed the Nismo Brembos and fitted some AP 6 pistons :)

If the car gets way out of shape mid corner your arms are tangled, read the corner and set your hands before entry and prepare for/expect it to go wrong and hope it doesn't

I have a bad habit of driving one handed lol, I have a video of me punting me 34 around Wakefield power sliding it out of the last corner and I look like I'm a Sunday drive hmmm

What LSD does it have ?

I have Whiteline sway bars in my 32 and cusco in the 34, go the adjustable white lines

clamped the hubs up lice crazy, linished a rod down to the right size to centre it all before drilling and still managed to get off centre holes haha.

All bolted up sweet though

yet to see how it holds up on the track but I'm hoping i will at least get a full day!

haha i wish i had the coin to go all out on mine - one day.

stock diff as far as i know, was going to shim it because i need to replace my attesa pump so its got to come out anyway

Just ordered a front and rear whiteline kit - should make a difference

I rather strongly disagree with that statement :) Taking your hands off the wheel means that if it gets away from you mid corner and the wheel spins in your hands you have less of a hope of knowing where straight ahead is. Of course on the tight slow stuff there is always a compromise....but persoally I ama BIG believer in never taking your hands off the 3-9 positions on the wheel

i'll definitely take the hands advice onboard.

that was with r888's - best lap i got was a 44.something - but as mentioned before it was with almost no brakes (they let go and caught fire leaving zero pedal at the end of the straight, tested the run off)

Lol, Murphy's law :)

Those brakes as a set held up a few full days hauling up my 300kw R34 which weighs a hefty 1661kg + my fat arse, your nice lite 32 will be like retirement for them lol

Michael, got a dyno sheet, what's your mod list ?

-7's on E85, 325rwkw @20psi. I'm guessing there is something wrong though as I only saw 15psi on the weekend but the car still seems to go hard. It's just lagy is all.

Crossing your arms is not only perfectly fine, it's better than repositioning your hands on the wheel. Keeping your hands in position means you know exactly where the wheel is, and you're in a better position to make any corrections needed. There's no situation in that video that requires your hands to be repositioned before the corner. Only when you need about a full turn of lock would you reposition your grip before a corner. Pretty rare on a race track, even a tight low speed course like that. Mt Cotton Hillclimb's hairpin is about the only corner I ever need to do that for, and when I do it I end up with my right hand crossed back over to about 9 o'clock so you're ready to wind lock off if/when needed.

All the pros cross their arms, and keep at least one hand in position unless absolutely required.
