Hi Peps,
So I'm kind of new at this stuff so go easy on me, I just brought a Nissan Skyline r34 25gt P plate legal and what I noticed was on rainy days there was water getting into the right head light and because of that the light is sightly dimmer than the left side and as I looked closer I noticed a small crack on the right side and the previous owner put what seems to be like clear sticky tape which does not help at all, Was wondering what are my best options and what should I do? should I put silicon on or should I replace the whole light it self ?

If you could help me out with some ideas and advice

Thanks.

From memory they are plastic?

if the crack is not in the patch of the light, which from pic it is not.

could get it welded up

something like:

otherwise get some waterproof silicon, but expect to have to do it again.

and hope a cop never sees it.

I'm surprised it passed a RWC with it!

Silicone would stand out a lot, if you get it plastic welded then sand it back from 800 to 2000 grit, it should be less noticeable. Or simply buy a 2nd hand broken headlight (with good lens) and just swap it over after putting it in the oven at 100 degrees.
