Boost Lag After Installing Boost Tee

Okay okay, so... Installed boost tee and boost gauge on my R33 gtst the other day , the problem is the turbo doesnt want to spool for a while after changing gears and it takes 3-4 seconds for boost to come on again but the turbo spools very slow to get to boost. On gear pulls the boost is fine. But Ive also noticed to boost controller is set two clicks from minium. I do 11psi at this. any help as it is quite frustrating.

Sorry.. Just overly frustrated at the fact that I have turbo lag in which it doesnt want to spool.

so one end to cooler pipe, on end to wastgate actuator, and its facing the way the arrow says.....

Yep exactly the way people have said to connect it.

try turning it all the way down to minimum and go for a drive. see what happens and report back.

Already have done that.

Still same problem, just that boost is down to 7psi and is still very laggy, even laggy trying to do gear pulls now.

and youve tried removing the boost tee and just putting a hose between the two places?

could be faulty.

there could also be a few other things, but lets rule out the simple shit first.

Well you must have changed something else. Did you remove any pipes when installing it?

Why is there a hose connected to the factory solenoid?

Its actually chopped and has a bolt blocking it.

The only thing Ive changed is that Ive dicconect the hoses from the boost solienoid and used the one that goes to the waste gate and blocked off return hose from the bov that goes into soilenoid

Turn it up and check it. Worst that can happen is boost cut. Fill your pwr steering too
