Boost Lag After Installing Boost Tee

You'll most likely find that as your BC uses a ball and spring, its boosting, spring opens you reach boost.

you shift, boost source drops, sprig closes the ball shut but traps pressurised air between the BC and wastegate actuator forcing the actuator to stay open, hence slow to get back on boost.

check the boost controller, after the ball/spring setup is there a small hole for air to bleed back out of? If not, there is your problem

Turn it up and check it. Worst that can happen is boost cut. Fill your pwr steering too
