The 2860R has a separator cast into the exhaust housing between the wastegate and the main turbine exit - which a std GTR turbo does not... and I'm guessing that the GT-SS is the same? I could be wrong...

The trust front pipes have this separator as part of the dumps - so because you have two wastegate separator plates, you need to grind off one, and it's easier to do the dump pipe than die grind the exhaust housing

I thought that 2530's would be a little full on for my stock innards RB26, but I'll keep em in mind. How much roughly brand new for 2530's?

Well anything over 300rwkw i think its a bit full on for stock innards RB26.. it will handle it but the motor will get tired much quicker. If you still have stock internals i'd stick to around 300rwkw... and if thats the target, i'd go the GT-SS...
