Hey guys recently the clutch in my R34 GTT has started to play games with me.

I have Exedy Cushion Button with Exedy lightweight flywheel installed about 1000kms ago and for the past couple of weeks my clutch won't disengage fully. Sometimes I can't get it into gear and I have to pump the clutch a couple times and sometimes if I'm holding the clutch in and it's in gear the clutch engages on it's own asif I have let go of the clutch (scared the fark out of me a couple times while reverse parking).

I have changed the clutch fluid and re-bled the system, was better for a couple of days and it's playing up again.

There are no leaks anywhere, I'm stumped as to if it's the master or the slave cylinder or could it be something else?

If it is the slave cylinder is it worth getting the Nismo version with a bigger bore.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I have played with the Adjustment on the pedal, doesn't make a difference, really it should be wound in a little as it grabs too far up and when it does engage it engages high up too.

Sorry not being a farktard but that's what I mentioned in my post I know that it's either the master or the slave but don't know which one it is that's busted, is there a way of finding out which one is rooted other than replacing them, normally I've experienced is that if it's the master that it would leak fluid behind the firewall into the cabin but I haven't lost a speck of oil.

Now you see, normally I would have said if it was the slave I'd expect it to be wet on the outside. Master cylinders with stuffed piston seals can and will bypass internally without losing fluid outside the cylinder. It just goes back around the piston and get's pushed up into the reservior when the piston returns.

Internet diagnosis of clutch and brake hydraluc problems is only slightly less retarded than identifying suspension clunks over the internet. :P

Ahh k so pun for pun :-D, well I was just asking incase someone had the same problem or if there was a way to test it out and see which is causing it, as per what you're saying it looks like it's the master cylinder, now on the hunt for one.
