Is This A Valid Vin No?

Hey, I got someone to send me a vin of a car I'm buying, it hasn't been registered in Australia yet so he said the vin won't show up in the check vin site etc.

He first sent the vin no as: 6U90000ER3420306

But they are meant to have 17 digits, I asked him to double check it and he sent back 6U90000ER34203067

Is the second one a correct vin no? Is for a skyline r34 25gt.

My R33 GTST is similar but not quite the same format - 6U900ECR33xxxxxx where the x's are a 6 digit serial no. Not sure how much help this is but it's the best I've got....

Ah okay thanks for that. I guess when he sent me the vin the first time around he forgot the last digit and now it's 6.

You can check all that through Japanese Odometer check on facebook. plus then you will be 100% sure the seller isnt pulling a fast one on you

I was gonna say, should have 6 digits after ER34.
