Hello everyone. I'm using one of those k&N Drop in filters. I cleaned and oiled using the recharger kit. Since that I've noticed my car has lost power. I can see the boost gauge going up but can't feel it like before. It make weird noise after 3000-4000 rpm range and no boost. I thought I might have over oiled the air filter. I cleaned my maf sensor using the crc maf cleaner. No difference. Is it possible to have boost leak?

Fit the stock element back and see if things improve.

So much B.S. regarding oiled filters, bloody thing blocked up on my dirt roads in no time. Chucked it for paper and all good.

On the 33 there was a Commo element that was a direct fit, VN???.

Have also done back to back 260rwkw dyno runs comparing new K&N, factory paper and then no element at all and goes what, no difference.

Scotty tells us that an oiled filter + AFM = bad idea. Apparently something to do with the oil getting onto the air flow meter and messing up the readings. Clean your AFM and try with a paper filter perhaps?
