Hey guys, forgive me if this has been canvassed before but couldn't find any threads specifically addressing the issue. Did a bit or research re alloy intake pipes and it seems that the main benefit is when you are running

big(ger) turbo or more boost, the rubber ones tend to get "sucked in" in that they warp and constrict air flow.

1. are there any other benefits to using these?

2. what sort of boost/turbo/power would you be running before you need to consider one?

3. are the "cheaper" alternatives just as good given that they don’t get as much punishment as some other pipes?
