Changed Turbo Water Feed Now No Heater

Changed turbo water feed line as hose was weeping from intake to y pipe to turbo on rb20det in r32 topped up coolant again and now heater isnt working.... bleed it 3 times and at best its slighty warmish then goes cold again..... wtf.... help

Can't help you.

Changing the line doesn't do anything to the heater. So either your heater is blocked now for some reason or you aren't bleeding it right or you did something else.

Yes bled it with set to 32 and fans on full still no hot air blowing and no bubbles coming out bleeder car sits stedy at half temp no over heating issues ac works ice cold just no heater....

Ok so i found that when i set it to FH it blows hot air.... theres a metel sensor or something in top heater hose has elec plug and metel t peice with rubber block off on it ...can this be causing it as pulled the hoses/sensor out way to get to turbo water feed ???

As far as I know, these cars run coolant through the heater core constantly, cabin heat being regulated by the air mix door.

That sensor in the hose at the firewall tells the aircon amplifier unit the actual coolant temp.

If you've disconnected it you'd see a fault code 23.

In r33's you get that issue if the ambient temp sensor behind the dash is unplugged/faulty. Everything is cold except for the hottest setting
