Boss Kits

Hey all,

Did a brief search but couldn't get a straight answer. Are boss kits car specific or steering wheel specific. I'm looking at getting an after market steering wheel but the boss kit which the retailer has is a bit too expensive. So I was wondering, if I buy some generic skyline specific boss kit off ebay, will it suit the steering whell?

HICAS and non-HICAS boss kits are important. I believe S13/R32/A13 (non HICAS) are the same (fits R31). I think R33 are a bit different.

So if I have hicas lock bar I would go for non-hicas yeah? And they are car specific rather than steering wheel specific?

Usually boss kits come with two PCD's. If your car had HICAS, get a HICAS one.

Yes they are car specific. Boss kits generally have a multi hole set up for different types of wheels like momo, Monza, sparco and what ever other shit, cheap wheels are out there.

Some boss kits fit multiple cars but like said above, you may need a hicas one of you have it.
