Wider Guards, Widebodys, Flares And Wheel Widths In Qld

Who has any of the above, and been able to have them engineered or plated successfully?

Received shitty news today that the main issue is increased wheel track. Max allowable is 25mm total.

This puts a massive downer on the last 18months work by a friend a building a widebody. Project started after talking to an engineer who was adamant it could be made legal.

Recent talks with 2 other engineers who said no ended with a talk with the head TMR engineer guy who has said no. Not to the kit, but to the wheel widths used, which defeats the purpose of a widebody IMO.

Anyone here have any experience around this topic?
