89CAL
Yeah wideband is not necessary but CLL certainly improves economy a touch. As said the tune should get you decent economy on its own but if it was only tuned on a dyno then they may not have bothered doing cruise AFR'S. I was going to say in my first post that the power seemed low for a GTR....... If it were me I'd go somewhere else Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448343-r32-gtr-really-poor-fuel-economy-after-tune/page/2/#findComment-7384223 Share on other sites
XKLABA
I have a Power FC Z32 AFMs and my O2 sensors turned off since like 2009 maybe and I got around 650km from a tank full ( just shy of 60L ) earlier this year Fix what you know isn't right first before looking for something that might not be right, if it still has the compliance cat then piss it off and get a good metal cat in there, no more then 200cells per inch, no less then 100 then go from there I'm talking about my 32 here if it wasn't obvious Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448343-r32-gtr-really-poor-fuel-economy-after-tune/page/2/#findComment-7384241 Share on other sites

KiwiRS4T
Don't wish to be rude but I have heard people before saying they can't find any decent RB tuners in Brisbane - if you can't make it all the way to Sydney it seems Guilt Toy (Anthony) is back in Australia and has a dyno in Newcastle. Might be worth the trip (and yes got rid of the O2 sensor when I got my Link). BTW if you don't change your cat and do go back to the same tuner ask him to drop the exhaust and do another run. iruvyouskyrine
Mercury Motorsport, home of NITTO and NITTO II, the later which set a new world record for a GTR on radials. Quickest and fastest 7.93 @ 175Mph. Might know a thing or two about tuning an RB. In Brisbane too. robbo_rb180
definately go back, i have had no problems with my tune from them. replace cat and check for any leaks. or grab a wideband and touch up the tune yourself Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448343-r32-gtr-really-poor-fuel-economy-after-tune/page/2/#findComment-7384881 Share on other sites
Midnight_Blue_32
Suprused you would buy a link and run a shit cat. yeah i know, its been on the to do list for a while but when i bought the link it was extremely cheap, but ive booked it in to have the cat replace next week then its going back for a retune Mercury Motorsport, home of NITTO and NITTO II, the later which set a new world record for a GTR on radials. Quickest and fastest 7.93 @ 175Mph. Might know a thing or two about tuning an RB. In Brisbane too. i was orginially planning on going to mercury but ive heard some bad rumours about them from some other gtr owners ive spoken to. definately go back, i have had no problems with my tune from them. replace cat and check for any leaks. or grab a wideband and touch up the tune yourself yeah im sure its something small and theyll figure it out when it goes back in for a retune.
