Hehehe... and i think i'm the queen of passing emissions tests i've been through them twice! i'm surprised you passed so easily... especially since stock skylines don't pass our emissions tests anyway! i had to make a fair few changes to get mine to pass

As for the computer... how would they know if its hidden behind its panel?!!? Would they actually bother unscrewing everything to check?

Nar they wont un screw the panel but most times in the emissions they can pick up weather your car is running lean or rich which would put the readings out on the emissions.. i dunno there smart then we think i feel....

nah... i took my tuner with me to the emissions test... we went to the penrith centre (the guy there is REALLY nice) and he let him sit in the car during the test, so that he could play with the emissions setting... thats how i ended up passing!

hey, i think you were really lucky to get away with the no cat fine! i heard it was much more than 5k!!! anyways, a catalytic convertor is a massive restriction in your exhaust system, its not .5 of a kw, try 10+ !!!

as i know it, with an aftermarket ecu or any modification that alters the induction or exhaust emissions of a car is deemed unroadworthy unless it meets standard epa regulations - this means air pod, exhaust, bov, ecu etc.

all they are trying to do is keep environmental pollution to a minimum and save this dying earth.....

nah semi slicks are legal as long as they have legal tread depth....ie they are OK when they are brand new but I guess they very quickly become technically illegal
