Why can't my car rev past 2000rpm?

I don't know what's wrong with it... Everytime I touch the throttle, and it goes above 2000rpm, it just revs out and doesn't go anywhere!!! It's so annoying because I'm getting beaten by Civics, Hyundais and Ladas! :Oops: :Oops:

Could this have something to do with it?

Nah, sounds like the source of the problem is between the seat and the steering wheel.

Oh, and before you all pay me out about not being able to drive a car, the clutch was slipping on launches when I bought it over a year ago, so I think I've done well to baby the car this far on a stuffed clutch

hahahah, but seriously though, in HOW MANY ****ING DECADES!!! Everything else in a car has evolved, but the simple clutch? There's got to be a better way then just putting material against a spinning metal wheel.

OS Giken Twin Plate has been sitting in my house for about 6 months, I've just waited this long so I could get the clutch replaced for free when I got the engine built and clutch removed anyway :Oops:
